Waste Land Nominated
for the 83rd Annual Academy Awards

"Waste Land", a documentary film on Vik Muniz while he was working on the series "Picture of Garbage" has been nominated for the 83rd Annual Academy Awards.
Premiered in Japan last October at the 23rd Tokyo International Film Festival and also having been screened across the US since last year, the film has already gained a good reputation both in Japan and the US.
