The new edition of Matsu Biennale, currently on view across the Matsu islands, in Taiwan, from September 5, welcomes once again Chihhung Liu’s work. On this occasion Liu is presenting a large-scale site-specific work installation titled “Tide & Time” which, distilling fishing knowledge, labor, and craftmanship, embodies that spirit of coexistence with the sea which has been passed down through generations.
